We are using Eset Mail Security for Exchange vsn. 4.2.10015.0 on an Exchange 2003 server. We have a multifunction network printer that scans documents and emails them over SMTP. When the printer sends a document in PDF format the message is sent to the spam quarantine with a spam score of 94. If the printer sends the document as an image it gets a score of 2 and is routed to the user. The mail server and printer are both on the same subnet and we are using the 192.168 range. I have tested entering the printer IP address into the allowed IP address list and into the ignored IP address list but neither action had any effect.
