anti malware programs for laptop

    Hi

    for my sister's laptop for university so far i have installed antivir primium and spyware blast and using windows firewall any other useful antimalkware programs that can be used on low spec laptops?

    If she's in a situation where friends are occaionally being actively infected, I might add BOClean as an additional active measure. Otherwise, about the only thing I'd add is Ewido without the active guard installed and let the trial convert to the free version to use for an occasional demand scan as desired/needed.

    I am with BlueZannetti on this. You can't do better than BOClean.

    today i was checking to se if it was working and in quarantine it had tons of stuff it had blocked using heristics i might replacef-secure with antivir soon on the desktop. ny ideas with antivir with firewall final with be out?

    I was not aware that Avira was developing a new program that included a firewall. No mention is made of it on their website.

    well it is in beta atm but it does look good there is an old post on the other antivirus software with screenshots of it.
