Thanks for posting, Drivesoft - I used one last year, but changed OS in the meantime and had lost it. Appreciate your work. I know it's only for some users - but it doesn't drive me nuts - I'm already there. :D

I am the author of these programs, and I can assure you, there is nothing malicious.

Scroogle: "Animated Christmas trees, who and what are you?"

The Ghost of Systems Past: "I am the ghost of systems past with animated Christmas trees."

    Scroogle: "Bah humbug!"

    I'll get my coat ... ;)

    Interesting and funny both.

It either is or it isn't. One or the other might not be on the level.

I submitted your link to ESET. They will either leave it as is or remove the warning.

For what it is worth, my rather simple setup of Avast and Malwarebytes didn't raise any alarms when I visited the website. While the pictures are quite beautiful, I found myself in a situation with a family member a few years back after she downloaded an animated desktop. I had to do a lot of cleaning up that night, so I'm afraid I'll be passing. :(

Merry Christmas, DriveSoft - your post is appreciated by some, given a "Bah,Humbug" by some! Anyway, nice try - good intentions sometimes don't get properly recognized. Sorry about that. Just human nature, I guess. ;) Hang in there!
