Andriod anti-malware question!

During the fire sale, my family was able to purchase all the 32GB HP TouchPads we needed. They use the webOS. In a week or less you'll be able to port Android making them dual boot. One of my first questions on the PreCentral forum after my purchase was about security issues and I was informed that no one was "writing" malware (supposedly) for that system. I'm not sure what the rest of the family is going to do but I'll at least try Android. So what security apps are available for it? Thank you!
I guess google is my friend but I would still appreciate any input!
