I have Nod32 installed when I noticed that I didnt have any virus protection. On checking I found that the AMON in the Control Center has been greyed out. So checking further the the window abovethe buttons is telling me 'the file system monitor not started', the file system monitor (AMON) enabled button is unchecked and greyed out. Clicking on the Start button nothing happens and then going into setup>security the only option availble is the allow manual stopping the others are greyed out. I dont seem to be able to get this part up and going. I have already uninstalled it once and reinstalling to an earlier version (and had problems with that as well) and everything seemed fine, 24hrs later the same problem has resurfaced. I am using Win XP Pro SP3. Also I use Spyware detector and have been for a year with no problems ubtil a couple of days ago. I have Nod32 2.7. Any help would be greatly appreciated.o_O

Upgrade to the newest version 3.0.672
    http://www.eset.eu/products/nod32-for-windows

    1. Download fresh new version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 from
http://www.eset.com/download . Make sure that you choose the correct version.

    2. Uninstall your current version
    3. Reboot the computer when prompted
    4. Delete manually C:\Program files\ESET
    5. Install your ESET software using the file you downloaded in step1 . Use typical install. Do not change the default settings
