Amon and on demand scaner not detecting virus and imon detecting?

    Amon and on demand scaner not detecting virus and imon detecting?

    and when I sent the virus by mail.....imon detected ito_O

    This is a new proactive protection that currently works with IMON only. If you choose to delete the attachment or terminate connection (in the case of http transfer), the worm shouldn't make it to the disk, at least not in a functional form.

    I have similar "issue"

    This file from the FTP server:
    ftp://user@91.134.8.8/SDFix.exe

    is detected only by AMON in IE's cache (only on-create) but neither by the on-demand scanner nor by AMON on-rename (I know IMON is not playing here because of the FTP).I haven't run this file . May you comment , Marcos or someone else from Eset.

    How stupid I am , please ignore my post above . :D
    The file appeared to be archive but upon downloading AMON deletes the cache and thus the whole arhive cannot be create correctly (only the non-malicious part is there)

    I am really sorry , I just tried with AMON disabled and everything's fine :thumb:
