PassMark Software is a good place to start.

Anandtech Bench is one of the most thorough processor comparison charts I've seen, though it covers only the CPUs you will still find on the market.

my new computer specs (will post full specs when I receive them)

here are the specs of the new computer I got that will ship to me in about four weeks since it is on back order.

    -four gigs of ram,
    -320 GB hard drive,
    -Intel quad core processor

I honestly do not know who makes it as it was a Christmas present that turned in to a early birthday present.

    What you guys think?

Are the specs good enough to run a program like dragon naturally speaking without lag?

sportsfan7700, according to their Tech Specs tab:
That PC will be at their "recommended" threshold.
