am i barred from the adware forum??? - VX2 problem

    i recently identified the nuisence on my computer to be something called 'vx2'

    i then tried to start a new post in adware requesting details on how to delete it,but found i could not start a new post.?

    any suggestions/advice would be apreciated!

    As per the new policy of disallowing Hijack logs, that forum is closed to everybody - that's pretty much what it was used for. The old logs were left as reference material. Your thread would probably be well placed in "other security issues" or "privacy problems."

    Go to the Lavasoft site - http://www.lavasoft.de/software/addons/ and on ur right u will see a VX2 cleaner. Download it [it will instal in ur ad-aware program] and then use the tool [which will be in Add-Ins] to remove VX2.

    You know, it's probably best if you get a full spyware review by posting a HijackThis Log at one of the forums that still provide log review and cleaning services. Since we don't do that here anymore, we probably can only provide pieces of help, not the whole thing.

    Be sure to read their posting procedure regarding HijackThis logs because every forum has a specific process they want you to follow.
