I also agree that you should give Process Guard a go :).

I _was_ a very avid fan of SSM, even using it along with Process Guard for a while.....but once the Program Checksums feature was added to Process Guard, I really couldn't see the need to be using SSM anymore ;) - jmho.

    Regards,
    Jade.

At this time I'm not interested in process guard.

I'm looking for something in the same aspect of SSM.

I'm looking for a SandBox Funtion type.

The last Process Guard version 2.0 has a SandBox function type feature, "Program Checksum", all new executable trying to launch are asked to you if you want to allow it or not (once, always).

You can even tick "block all new and changed files from running" which is the same than "user mode" under SSM.

Moreover Process Guard is a kernel mode driver, more efficient.

But if you still don't want to give a try to the free version, may be you can take a look to Abstrusion Protector.

Will look into purchasing PG :)

Has for SSM it's self, yes it's free. Slight problem. It causes a memory leak on my system.
