    Alibaba's Ma: "very interested" in buying Yahoo - Reuters

    I had no idea that Yahoo was in trouble. If Yahoo were to disappear would Google be the only big game player?

    Yahoo has been in trouble for ages. They should have taken the MS offer a few years back, but kept holding out for more money, which no one would have given them at the time. Instead, their stock just kept falling like a meteor. Bing would still be a big player, though MS has never made a profit from it. Bing actually powers Yahoo search now, actually.
