I have an updated version of NOD32 and updated virus definitions with it.

    I run a scan and I get

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dbmsads.dll - a variant of Win32/Agent.NSG trojan - error while deleting (Access denied)

I try and reboot and rescan, and it's still there.

I tried googling the virus and can't figure out how to remove this. The only results show that NOD32 knows about this virus, but nothing on removing it from your pc.

I tried searching these forums and nothing comes up with this virus.

Hello! Download UnDll - the DLL removal utility from:
    http://www.nod32.it/tools/undll.zip

Extract the file into new folder .

Run the exe file and follow the instructions (point the program to the malicious dll , in your case C:\WINDOWS\system32\dbmsads.dll )

Follow the instructions , you may also need to reboot at the end

    Thanks!

Well, I downloaded and ran that program 3 times. each time selecting that 1 dll. each time it would reboot. each time, NOD32 would still see the virus.
