    I don't want to cross-post, parts of the following were recently also posted here .
    But I think it deserves its own thread.

    In 2010 we had a thread here about the file mms.cfg that can be used for Adobe Flash. The discussion was started after some ESET blog posts (links in that thread).

    That thread is now too old to be able to reply to, so I post this here.

    The most recent guidelines for sys-admins can be found in an Adobe pdf file Adobe Flash Player Administration Guide for Flash Player 11.2 at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/flash_player_admin_guide.html

    That pdf file gives, besides other topics, a good documentation for the use of the file mms.cfg. It tells also more about the new updater service.

    You might want to read page 17 - 31.
