Thanks for the heads up. Installed and it seems that reload issues are gone, good! However still having fight with this forum, mark as read, reply with quote etc.
@avatar I have noticed an updated version is available on Play, is it the same version you have uploaded to your website yesterday and secondly will automatically newer version from Play update the manually installed (from your website)?
Oh, I've found one more issue in the way we handle HTTP keep-alive. Generally the issue is the same - Android Java is not normal Java
One important thing. We will update apk signature in the next update so to install it you should uninstall and install Adguard.
On our website. It is available already, version 1.0.493. The differenece between apk-version and Google Play version is that apk-version can block ads in apps, gp-version is for browsers only. The problem is that if apk-version has the same signature as google play version, than Google Play can overwrite it.
Thanks for the explanation. I will keep update channel via your website because of ads block in apps. BTW, this version works fine in all my browsers, Opera and Chrome. Also Feedly is filtered what makes me extremely happy. Thanks for the great Android app ;-)
You've welcome. All your apps are excellent and approach to customers feedback, issues etc. is one of the best I ever met with.
@avatar I have noticed that Adguard didn't automatically start up after reboot of my Android tablet even though that this option is checked/enabled in the settings. I had to open the app and enable filtering manually what triggered a pop up window asking to confirm VPN. That's might be reason why Adguard doesn't start up automatically, just my guess. Can you check what's going on?
This popup dialog will always be shown after device reboot. Android does not "remember" your previous confirmation. But anyway app should have started on device boot after 10 seconds delay.
I am thinking about moving to AdGuard, but I do wonder how the Play Store will work out for you. Google has a habit of removing these blockers from their store. I would definitely keep a link on your main website just in case.
That's what didn't happen. Have noticed another "small thing", when writing anything and using backspace to delete letters/words, it goes very slowly. There's let's say 1-2 seconds lag between you press the button and the action is executed. Btw, the application consumes roughly 5% of the battery consumption on my Sony tablet. Is this value the expected or is excessive? I ask because Adguard is one of the application consuming quite a lot of battery.
Oh sorry my bad, not permanently, it occurs randomly. It happens also when writing mails in Gmail app.
Not only, because as I said it occurs also in Gmail application, i.e. outside of a browser. The latest stable release of Opera and Chrome.
