It's normal for adguard to consume cpu when there is not browsing traffic, like while playing online, using bittorrent, etc.? Can it be avoided or fixed?
@denniz I'm sure avatar appreciates the suggestion. But I am happy to confirm that Adguard was far ahead of the competition with regard to driver signing requirements and had been cross signing sha256 with Microsoft Windows for a number of months now already. For being a smaller development team in comparison to larger software companies, I give the Adguard team a tremendous amount of praise for always being ahead of the game when it comes to the latest developments and so on. EDIT: Although I should note, with regard to Adguard's latest binaries that follow current specifications, I am referring to their latest 6.1 betas and release candidate. I haven't confirmed if the 6.0 release met those same signing requirements because I'm not running 6.0 at the moment. I highly recommend 6.1 RC though.
It may be normal only when the program you use is listed in the "Filtered Apps" list. Yeah, finally, thank you!

Facebook just started giving me suggested posts. Can agfw block these suggested posts which are really ads.
It can, but it would be better to wait for v6.1 release, we'll add a few new filters modifiers which allow us to block them better and without need in constant filters updating.

I have just installed Adguard 6 again and am having problems using it with Cyberfox. I have read the issues with Firefox and followed the instructions about disabling the Cyberfox filter and waiting before reloading but makes no difference. An example of what I am getting is below also enclosing the details. Can anyone help please. Code: https://adguard.com/ Peer's Certificate issuer is not recognized. @djg05 Try manually importing the ssl cert: https://kb.adguard.com/index.php?/e...iew/54/10/connection-is-not-trusted---firefox
Thanks for that. I knew it was something like that but was looking in the wrong place and could not find any reference to it. All working fine now.
The rule for blocking facebook ads will be added to the English filter today. Also I am very excited about new ExtendedCss module, it allows us doing many things MUCH easier than it was before.
In "Extensions", I have the "Adguard Popup Blocker" and the "Web of Trust" disabled. Why the above mentioned disabled extensions are updated each time together with the enabled Filter subscriptions?
Since you have those extensions disabled, it will not utilize them. However, it does seem weird that the lists would continue to be updated. I have had mine disabled since installation, therefore mine do not show in the lists to get updated. So my suggestion would be to choose to Remove them manually from those updated lists and they will not update anymore. I see what you mean though; if a user has disabled those specific extensions, then the related lists should automatically be removed and therefore not updated each time.
