Adding a new connection as private or public

In windows i usually added all my connections as public (including home wife) but when adding firewall exceptions on windows windows firewal using the pop up there is usually a check box that says (public - not recommended). Is this to be concerned ir should i start creatng private connection in home wifi?

 

i would go with private wifi Connection.
