ADD9 analyzes lonmg long time endless?

    Hello,

    after my first install of ADD I started defragmentation. But because nothing seemed to happen I canceled this job. ADD did not finish within 5 minutes. So I killed ADD. Now if I start ADD again, it is analyzing the (half defraged partition) without finishing. partition is destroyed and can not be used now.

    what can I do to recover the partition? use another partition manager?

    Thank you fpor your help. Problem was solved by itself after e reboot. Before I rebooted I got stressed a little bit, 3 hours later I could not see anymore the analyzing screen and switched the PC off (shut downs did not work). Then I wondered that the "damaged" partition was still there and available.

    Hello detlef,

    Does Acronis Disk Director Suite 9.0 work normally for you now? Are you able to use the "damaged" partition and all the files are accessible?
