Will Acronis True Image Echo work on my Dell 4550 Desktop the same as the regular version of TI 11 Home?

I may be forced to purchase Acronis True Image Echo instead of TI 11 Home.

    Regards

Hopefully, it would work better than TI 11.

You could download the Echo Workstation trial version from Acronis and see if it will work on your computer.

If you currently have TI 11 backups and can successfully restore, you could uninstall TI 11, install Echo and try it out. If it doesn't work, restore your TI 11 image.

    Hello data7,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for delayed response.

We recommend you to download and install the free trial version of Acronis True Image Echo of your choice to see how the software works on your computer. With the trial version of the product you will be able to fully use the Windows version for 15 days. The bootable rescue media will be limited to restore function.

You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image Echo in the respective User's Guide.

Please visit Acronis online store to purchase the full version of the product.

    Thank you.

Note , unless this has changed in an upgraded version, Echo will not be able to read TI 11 images, though TI 11 will understand Echo ones.

Echo can read some TI 11 images. I'm not sure what actually determines whether or not it can, though.

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Software.

We are sorry for delayed response.

Please be aware that Acronis True Image 11 Home may be unable to read images created by Acronis True Image Echo as well. The reason for that is slightly different image format.

Currently, Acronis True Image has one version backwards compatibility (within the series) guaranteed.

    Thank you.
