I have an external hard drive for the exclusive use of Acronis. I have successfully created an image of my C hard drive on my external drive and this has been verified. I am running Win XP. Do I need to create an additional Acronis Secure Zone? When I make the initial steps it seems it will not allow me to create a Secure Zone on the external hard drive.

Thanks for your help for this novice.

No, you don't need to create a SecureZone on the external hard drive.

The main purpose of the SecureZone is to allow you to store images safely and restore them on a system with only one hard drive.
