Acronis Install fails with ID11708

    I´m trying to install Acronis True Image Server 9.1 for Windows on a 64bit Version of Windows Storage Server 2003. The Installer starts an rollback shortly before finishing the installation. There is one entry in the AppEvent-Log with event-ID 11708: "Product Acronis True Image Server - the installation fails."

    Please make sure you use the latest build (3920) of Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows. To get access to updates you should first register your software.

    Please clear Windows temp folders, and try again.
    Please also try temporarily disabling antivirus software and installing.

    If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

    Please collect the installation log file the way it is described in this previous post.

    Please also create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.
