I use Acronis True Image 9.0 right now for home use (XP, Win2K) and on my later motherboards with ICH7 - ICH9 southbridges and AHCI SATA, I had to create a BartPE disk to run the restores from a boot CD. Acronis did not natively recognize my SATA disks in AHCI mode.

Has this been resolved yet? How about their Server products? I want to buy the Server version for Windows 2003, but would like to get away from having to use a Windows boot disk and create a native Acronis rescue disk.

    Hello valnar,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image 9.0 Home

Corporate version of Acronis True Image support AHCI mode. In order to be sure that it will work for your configuration I may recommend you download free trial version of Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows and test it first.

    Best regards,
