    Why hasn't there been any major upgrades for Acronis Disk Director for the the last few years as there are upgrades for True Image once per year?

    Because Acronis doesn't spend nearly as much time on DD. If they'd just fix the Vista bugs and fix all the bugs in OSS, I would consider that a major upgrade (at least for Acronis).
