Has anyone had success accessing their Hotmail account using Outlook Express? The folks at Micorosft have not been helpful. I keep getting the following error message.

I use "Get Mail" which runs in the tray and will check, then fwd your hotmail to another address. Here is a link for it, incase you want to check it out. Its not an answer to your question I know, but I gave up on the question long time ago, lol.

    Thanks Trout and Eliot. :)

I don't use Hotmail all that much, so if I can't get it working, I'll probably just live with navigating to their HTTP site.

The Microsoft article was interesting, but didn't seem to fix the problem.

    Thanks anyway! :D

Sorry it wasn’t a fix. The only other things that I know to try would be to make sure your username and password are correct and if that is okay you may try removing the account from OE and then try putting it back in. Every now and then that will work when a weird problem shows up.

I have done so for years now, there was an issue with server access on Friday. It may just be a matter of time, but you should get it going.

    Cheers :D
