This is a follow-up of todays (16 Dec 2010) thread in the Update Forum about a Spybot S&D defs update.

Yesterday (15 Dec 2010) there was this update:

Today (16 Dec 2010) there was this update:

    PS:
I'm only posting this here because usually there is only a defs update on a Wednesday, and I don't know whether there was a special reason for the update on Thursday.

Second time that situation happens, that I know of; out of time updates.

Last time was to correct a false positive. According to this thread here -http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=60901- it seems it is detecting less than before.

    No answers were given yet.

After having enabled the last item in Spybot (Usage Tracking), which I have usually disabled and which I have now enabled just only for testing purpose and only for a quick moment to compare the numbers), Spybot shows on my end:
    the number 781275

    SpybotSD_2010_12_19_2.gif

That explains the difference of numbers between 778578 and 781275 as posted by other(s) in:
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=60924

It doesn't explain what happened with the defs update on 16 Dec 2010.
As NanDog posted at the DSLR thread "Guess we'll have to wait and see what happened"
