About:Blank will not disappear

Hi all,

I've been trying to get rid of about:blank for a week or so. I've run everything.. webroot, S&D, Adaware, and the Microsoft spyware utility. They manage to get rid of it, and it just reloads itself.
I see that the site is no longer accepting hijack this posts.. so what can I do to get rid of this thing once and for all??

This is successful for some variants - but not all!

 

Well, Adware Away was the trick! Whew.. I had both HomeOldSp and Variant 5 lingering in the system. Adware Away knocked them both off. Thanks for the links!

 

That was quick! Don't forget you only have Adware Away for a few days trial - next time you're gonna have to pay; so stay clean, it's the best way!
