Just saw it. If i am not mistaken, it,s new addition. So Ewido on VirusTotal and a-squard on Jotti. That,s nice. Why don,t they join VT as well. That will give a good comparison.

VT or Jotti's is not meant for comparison. Due to various reasons, and the specific implementations of the products in Jotti's/VT's, these cannot be considered as the #1 head honcho for detection rates.

Yes, you can get a crude area. But I think Ewido is better than A-squared, I already see many trojans not detected well by A-Squared.

    Hello emsisoft,

As a Company CEO, it should be pretty obvious why the content of your pulled post was inappropriate to a Wilders Security open forum. Please contact one of our Administrators by Private Message if you wish to take the matter further. Thank you.

Now I feel guilty of staring an inapropriate discussion! Never intended so.

I feel guilty because it seems that I put this discussion on the inappropriate path by saying that Ewido is better than A-Squared and/or my comments about Jotti's/VT, though I have absolutely no idea of what happened here :( :(

    Hello aigle and Firecat,

No need to feel guilty. Emsisoft merely wished to explain why his Company's software (A-squared) isn't included in the VT reports. Unfortunately the explanation provided wasn't suitable for airing in a Wilders Security open forum. Hence reason for the pulled/deleted posts.

Anyway, all water under the bridge now and I'm pleased to see that the thread is back on course.

    Regards

    Menorcaman
