Sumatra PDF reader is in advanced beta status. I'm running it on my computer with no problems. It's fast & simplex & minimalist. USB-portable. Only 931MB (I meant to say KB) fully installed. Needs no reboot after installation so you can test it easily with ShadowSurfer, Deepfreeze or that sorta thing.

It isn't as fully featured as Foxit, but it does a good job, & it does it bloody fast.

If you're amenable to betas, this software deserves helpful support I think.

Thanks. I been using version 5.0 with Adobe Speed Up to pull off the baggage that slows it down. Hope this one is even quicker. Speed is my cup of tea.

931 KB right ;) Otherwise, it might not be that light and fast :D

I will look at it once I get on a windows pc, always looking for alternatives to adobe since it is so big and bloated (all I want to do is see the darn thing, nothing else :p )

    Cheers,

Whoops! My tongue was over my eye tooth, so I couldn't see what I was typing.

I used Foxit for about a year and really liked it. But I found that it created some problems when trying to print mailing labels from the UPS and USPS websites. So I switched back to Adobe Acrobat reader.

Have any conflicts been found with this new product? Ultimately, I prefer smaller, leaner programs. But thus far, the Acrobat Reader is the only one that meets my need to print out mailing labels on-line.
