I just upgraded to build 903 and am having a problem. I reboot with the 903 boot disk and try to create a backup, typing in the drive that I want the backup to be stored on and then giving the file a name (I use the current date.) The box "next" is grayed out, so I can't create the backup. I tried this with my 826 boot disk and didn't have a problem.

Instead of typing in the drive letter, let TI show you the drives that are available. The enumeration of drives (assignment of drive letters) can differ between Windows and the Linux environment that the TI recovery CD uses.

Thanks for reply, but "Next" still is grayed out, even if I let TI enumerate the drive. This problem only occurs with build 903. This build, however, allows me to restore. ("Next" is not grayed out during restore.) But I would like to backup from the boot disk, not only from Windows. Have there been other reports on this problem?

    Hello csmuge,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please use a digital camera to make shots of the Next button which is grayed out.

Please also find the full version name and build number as it is shown at: http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/

Send the captured information to support@acronis.com along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears or just provide the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
