cool. then again at the mercy of the vendor to transform from ancient to modern... ...hmm, wondering whether that will ever happen or what will be the arguments, if any at all, not to increase the limit

what would be the limit 1, 2 or 10Mb, unlimited? Of course 64kb could just be an arbitrary limit because nobody thought it should be any bigger

depends on the architecture of NOD32, who knows who/why set the limit to 64 kB. But 2 MB should do fine for the next few years, considering that list mentioned with 977 kB contains already more than 66,000 IP addresses.

I am certain that somebody will point to the host file, however having the list in NOD the application will eventually notify the user that it blocked an IP, whereas this is not happening with host file entries.

I can confirm there is a limit of 64kB for importing address lists. Whether the limit can be increased or not, hard to tell but it's already on the wish list.

    no kidding

whew, wish-list it is then for now. you cannot liaise with the software engineers to check, would make it less hard to tell?

    Hello,

A future version of the software would mean after 4.2.x and not one of its updates.

    Regards,
