Haha! Still waiting for the order confirmation, actually... ;)
It will have to knock Sandboxie out of 1st place to be the best software investment.

I wonder why it will be the last bits du jour admuncher promotion?

Folks, some bittersweet news. This will be the last ever BitsDuJour promotion of Ad Muncher. To commemorate the occasion, Murray has agreed to offer all you Bitsters the biggest discount yet. So don't miss the chance!

Gotcha. And that's encouraging to hear, believe me. :)
Still waiting for email order confirmation, and I purchased almost 2 hours ago.
Probably heavy volume with the BitsDuJour promotion.

It is an excellent application, it blocks all ads unpleasant. Even since I installed it I do not have any kind of pop-ups, banners, ads, etc.. Really impressive.

Another thing I like is that it is "separate" from the Sandboxie, so it is totally free to update and keep up to date - unlike the Adblock/Adblock Plus that updates their list every time I launch the browser.

Taking Sandboxie, NIS and Keriver 1-Click Restore is the best purchase I have made about security.

Thanks for the feedback. I've emailed Murray Hurps. Something's not right. I use MailWasher Pro and I can view even the filtered mail before I decide what to do with it.

Edit in: Murray got right on it, sent out another confirmation. I'll install AdMuncher later tonight. Looking forward to it. :)

    Hi,
I have already purchased a lifetime license (Premium Version). Now, I wish to purchase the basic version, just would like to know is it good for lifetime like Sandboxie or there are any hidden fees?

    Thanks
    Ziaul

    Ziaul,

I have e-mailed Murray Hurps, one of the devs > murray[at]admuncher.com when I required information. He is most helpful. ;)

I have a lifetime License, do they even sell a lifetime license anymore?

    They call it Unlimited updates.

My lifetime licenses get their plugs pulled at version 5 from what I've been told at AM. Version 4 has hung on forever though, like 3-4 years or more it seems. Apparently the definition of "lifetime" has changed a few times over the years with their licenses.

As for AM promos- IIRC they usually run a couple a year- one on BDJ which will be ending and another around Christmas. I think my last lifetime license (before the latest subscription choices) was bought a couple years ago at Christmas for like $18 or something there abouts.

I'd like to know more about who told you that, or where you read it, if you'd be kind enough to provide the details.

Having just purchased "unlimited updates", you caught my attention with that statement. :)

I checked again with my licenses as details can be emailed from the admuncher site. Two total lifetime licenses purchased, one from 2007 and one from 2008. Both state "Your license is currently valid for 1 simultaneous installation with
premium list updates, program updates and support until v5.0 is
    released."

They have changed the current license scheme as I don't think AM goes by "version" licenses anymore.

Sure sounds contradictory, to call them lifetime licenses, and then say they are good until a certain version is released.
Maybe the dev will provide an explanation.
