Thanks MrBrian. That is 41 too many. I don't subscribe but used to occasionally read a few of those blogs listed such as Krebs, Schneier, WeLiveSecurity and NakedSecurity. Once in a while, there comes a few articles that are worth digging into but I got tired of it and decided that it is no longer worth my time. RSS feeds on other non-security topics is plenty enough for my reading list. Therefore, I rely on the occasional peek at this section in this forum to keep up with what's happening in the security world. I'm letting you guys cherry-pick the hopefully worthy news and deliver it to folks like me. Anyway, things like celebrity hacks definitely get the buzz going...it will eventually appear right in front of your eyes one way or another .
At first I thought 41 sounded like a lot, then going down the list I started recognizing a ton. Krebs, Schneier and https://www.eff.org/deeplinks (which wasn't listed) are the ones I check often. edit Also worth a mention is http://hitmanpro.wordpress.com/
Yes I agree, IMO most of the stories are uninteresting. Plus they often do not tell how to protect against certain malware attacks. Also, a lot of those blogs have a badly designed layout. I think these ones are the best: http://www.welivesecurity.com/ http://threatpost.com/
