Any of you guys started using 4.0.424.0 the new build? If you are using Netware Client I'd recommend going to it. I am not sure if it has done anything for the deadlock issue in 2K8.

Yup...using it now. I like to keep up to date! So far no problems after in depth scan.

Do we have to download the new version or will it update automatically?

I've got it installed on a few stations. The Web access protection / HTTP HTTPS / Address management issue where it doesn't actually pull the list from the Remote Admin server still hasn't been fixed. I'm staying on version 3 on the 80% of my network I haven't upgraded to 4 until this problem is fixed.

This will be fixed in the next build of ERA.

I have now had 4.0.424 installed on one PC for almost 24 hours.

With 4.0.424 I still see a 3019 error every time I access a network share. I still have 3.0.684 installed on one PC and it doesn't have this issue.

With 4.0.417 I was seeing 6004 errors but this has not yet happened with 4.0.424.

What operating system are you using on the client, and what OS is hosting your share? Linux, BSD, 2k,2k3,2k8 etc?
