3.0 email scan freezing Outlook

    Since "upgrading" to 3.0, Outlook is very slow downloading email. I guess NOD32 is scanning.

    If I uncheck "Receive" and leave "Read" checked am I still protected? I think of this as being like scanners that don't look at a file until it is opened. Am I correct?

    Yes, you are still protected. Messages will now be scanned when they are read but not as they are downloaded.
