    Hi Nod 32 people!

I have 27 days left! using 2.7 on windows xp sp2.

Attached is the scan log. Certain files are locked as you can see.

    1) Is this normal, ie does everybody get that symptom, page file etc
    2) coming off BD AV 10 I can't see how to schedule a short quick scan

I have every single test NOD 32 offers me activated in all threat protection modules, no exceptions!

It is good it offers me email in out scanning on any port I need, BD forced European standards on me and my ISP doesn't use those standards.

However, I can't see it activly scanning email just get the count of scanned.

    Comment welcome

Can NOD 32 scan the locked files

In Blackspears post 100, it is clear now that what I saw is the same.

The advice was it is unlikely that a locked file has an infection, BUT

    IT is possible.:doubt:

So maybe it has been answered but on a search post 100 and my own question was all that found.

There are a couple of other threads linked to the locked file question in the FAQ. Check them out as well.

Re: Final report on my NOD 32 trial

Well, I decided to buy a license for Nod 32. Product seems unbeatable at the moment. Bought a 2 year license to save renewal pain. It works well with my other tools and let's me scan email on my ISP's non standard outgoing port.

I like the fact I'll get the no extra cost upgrade to V3 when it emerges.

It is also fast on scanning and light on the ram and cpu resources.

There must be something wrong with it I just didn't find anything. :D
