I am running Windows 7 SP1 x64 and x86 Professional with SWB V4.6 licensed. In the %ProgramFiles%\SpywareBlaster folder there is a file named spywareblasterupgrade_latest.exe (2717 kbytes) which I assume is a file used to upgrade SWB from the previous version.

Can spywareblasterupgrade_latest.exe be safely deleted following the upgrade completion?

    Hi,

Yes, that file is used for automatic program upgrades (if you have AutoUpdate and have that feature enabled).

And yes, assuming you are already running the latest version, it should be safe to delete that file. (It should be deleted automatically on your first reboot after the automatic upgrade takes place, but there are a few edge cases where that might not happen. It doesn't harm anything by being there.)

    Best regards,
