Default IObit are at it again!

As many users here will be aware, a while back IObit were found to be illegally using definitions from Malwarebyte's Antimalware.

There newest product which is still in beta is called IObit Toolbox
http://www.iobit.com/toolbox.html

The problem is that many of the included utilities copy very closely the design and functionality of equivalent utilities from TuneUp Utilities, as you will be able to see from the attached screen shots.

There are also other parts of TuneUp Utilities which have also been copied, but I have not included screenshots of.

It's not as good as TuneUp, and also, you can get the 2007 version of TuneUp Utilities for free (however this version does not officially support Windows 7) ~ Link Removed as per Policy ~

It may be an unpopular opinion but actually this is a pretty decent product.
IOBit aren't the first and certainly won't be the last company to create a similar GUI to an established product.

Oh yeah of course the other business was shameful. However ignoring that, taken by itself this is a pretty decent utility.Personally I use WinUtils Pro (free at Softpedia),but if I was unaware of their history IOBit Toolbox would be a viable free option IMO.

Personally I'd not use anything from IOBit anymore on a point of principle, but as I said if I didn't know of their shady dealings it's a decent bit of software. They've got plenty of history with system utils,I used Advanced Windows/Systemcare for a long time with nothing untoward, but trust is everything if you're letting stuff delve into your system.

i cant trust a company with my computer if they have immoral business practices, unless there has been a drastic change in the companies upper management (which doesnt seem to be so)

They(IOBit) have no meaningful answer for testando. They cannot avoid the truth...."the truth will set you free" as testando says. They try to talk about "beautiful world" etc and divert the focus. They didn't just copy a GUI or something trivial, they STOLE a signature database. They lost all credibility. They seemingly aren't to be trusted, to me that seems obvious.
