We will be contacting our existing HitmanPro translators to help translating HitmanPro.Alert. Alert will have only ~30 strings to translate.

Is it possible to block certain files or specific programs from being scanned?

You can uncheck "Automatic upload" under Settings. In a next build we'll add the feature to exclude folders.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem... I used the Hitman Pro and it found various tracking cookies (I am not on the trial version), but it refuses to delete the following.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Internet Explorer has a cookie database file (index.dat). HitmanPro enumerates that database file using APIs but the cookies are already gone. Due to this discrepancy, a bug is triggered in the Internet Explorer API that prevents the cookie entry to be deleted from the database. The discrepancy may have been caused by a different cleanup tool.

You may want to try to delete the cookies from Internet Explorer (Delete Cookies).

HitmanPro does not clean the BIOS. But it is able to detect based BIOS infections like Mebromi.

Hope this helps.

I've been looking at this 2 weeks ago but was not totally confident the file was non-malicious. Mainly because there is no version information in the file and I could not download any trial of SpyReveal. You have to buy it, there is no way to test it

In addition the file had a low reputation in our cloud: only 2 people with the file in question. Currently its a bit better so I white listed the file.

Sorry for the delay but this was a rather peculiar file.

Thank you for checking it out, and for whitelisting the file.
FYI, a trial can be downloaded from here.........
http://antikeyloggers.com/downloads
It's a limited trial, as in it will only scan 75% of your system to see if there are any compatibility problems.
Again thank you.
