Checked out the scan on my old laptop xp3 32 bit single also running HMP and it is scanning at about 5 minutes. I am wondering if my slow HMP became corrupted somehow? Is it ok to delete and reload a new copy and just reenter my license.?

That should have no effect. Perhaps you have drives that are not accessible?

The 32bit executable is build 154

Edit: Nevermind, it's the right one. Something with Chrome's cache i guess? I downloaded it with IE and it's ok

I reloaded 153 from the home page and I assume I got 32 bit. 153 I had a thumb drive loaded and removed it prior to scan. It is faster, but not as fast as the old 2 minutes plus 10 sec or so. About 7 minutes now which sure beats 11.

The latest beta seems to hang on xwreg.dll,

Moreover the cancel button doesn't interrupt the process...

Before, the Volume Boot Record bootkits Cidox, Mayachok and Rovnix were only removed by Dr.Web and TDSSKiller. Detection ratio on the newer variants is still low (1/42).

The Xpaj MBR bootkit is brand new (3/42) detection on MBR:

    Hope this helps.

    I have Windows 7 x64 on a Dell XPS 15.
Whenever I try to drag or move the Hitman Pro icon from the desktop to the quick launch the icon becomes a generic file icon.
I do not have this problem with any other programs.
    Any help will be appreciated.

Before HitmanPro.Alert is going to be released we need some translations for that as well. I'll be sure to contact you in a few days. Thanks!

We will be contacting our existing HitmanPro translators to help translating HitmanPro.Alert. Alert will have only ~30 strings to translate.
