    2.0.14 has been released. It improves performance over 2.0.11, fixes bugs, and gets us ready for localizing into multiple languages. Language builds will be coming over the next couple weeks.

    Some of the bug fixes include:
    * Date format for Last Scanned date
    * Improving the upgrade from Free to Plus to hide the banner and kick off definition updates
    * Improved performance in Plus
    * Bugs related to restore/delete from quarantine
    * Correcting Avira exclusion path
    * Spelling & Grammar mistakes
    * Decreasing the number of balloon pop-up messages

    New users will get this when they download, however we will not be forcing updates to everyone. You can manually upgrade by simply going to http://www.immunet.com/free/index.html and downloading the Free product. It will upgrade your existing installation and ask you to reboot.

    "Just a FYI. In about 2 weeks there will be a major update to this product."

    Is this the major update TRJAM was referring to?

    I downloaded it and installed and I see it has the ASK Toolbar again but is not prechecked and it asks you after you install Immunet :doubt: Again this post is about the ASK Toolbar and nothing to do with a great product like Immunet!

    @ Pedersen You said Immunet will build there own and have nothing to do with ASK!https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1716679&postcount=21

    TH...I may be wrong, but my understanding was that they have a short-term contract with Ask, which must be seen out, and after that "no more ASK"?

    Malcontent, I just clicked on the link you gave for Immunet and got version 2.0.10.13. The version I'm running is newer than that, and nowhere did I find the version you referred to.

    I really enjoy how fast immunet is and in some ways it's a lot like Prevx. The only problem with version 2 (only version i've tested) is that it's pretty spotty on the malware detection. Some of the more serious malware I tested it with like Zeus or TDSS it didn't even blow the whistle or show suspicion. I understand completely that it's advertised to be supplemental, but in my opinion every security program should be designed to hold it's own without a buddy around to back it up. I hope future versions show some aggressive malware removal and i'd consider implementing the product with my PC's and my family PC's.

    It's fine to say I.P. is meant to be supplemental. They still need to demonstrate that it actually provides extra protection when run along side other products. I haven't seen it tested that way yet.

    I don't use it but with the paid version you get the Bitdefender engine and can be used as a stand alone AV solution.

    In the paid version, Immunet Plus, is the BitDefender-powered TETRA detection engine and from their Wiki:
    TETRA is a powerful traditional anti-virus engine that provides comprehensive protection for users when they are not connected to the Internet. It also acts in a supporting role to the other cloud engines* (that is, detection engines connected and contributing to the Immunet community) when the user's computer is connected and online.

    *ETHOS and SPERO, the cloud engines in Free and Plus.

    Also, BitDefender drivers are loaded when running Immunet Plus's on-demand rootkit scan.

    I bought the 3-user 2-year version and am running it on computers ranging from a quad core 64-bit Win 7 workstation to a 32-bit Win 7 netbook. It runs extremely light and doesn't seem to be using anymore resources in 2.0.14.91 that I had observed when running the free version.

    It seems to be doing a fine job so far and has caught / killed a few Internet threats as well as some old Trojans in some old e-mail files when I was transferring data off an old backup drive.

    Already tried a few times, perhaps it is a x64 issue.

    A while back, don't think anything ever came of it. I'll try again later today.

    @Pedersen:
    Hi, just wondering if you might have any information about the ASK
    toolbar, as mentioned in posts #4 and #5, if possible, thanks?

    What i can tell, so is ASK only temp. We are making our own toolbar right now and it should be done to the fall.

    By adding ASK to our product, we get a okay amount of money and earn $1-2 for each installation also. We need this money to keep "Immunet free" free.

    Other options have been looked into but none could even get close to the deal with ASK.
