Hi, I'm Johnny, and I'm Tito. We're siamese twins.

We were wondering about a potentially malicious file that came up in the Prevx scan results called "zsoftas.dll" - this apparently is a windows file needed for something or other, but it appears that the scanner thinks it's malware. We are not sure what to do about this... I think it could be a false positive and i think it could be a true negative. Is it possible that this windows file has been infected but is still a required windows file? We would like to just delete zsoftas.dll but don't want to harm our system, so we were wondering what we should do and what steps to take to clean the infected file if it is actually infected.

Please look at the Post that Cudni pointed to and Please do a Prevx scan and the send the scan log to Prevx and they will let you know for sure if it is malware or not as I don't have the file in Question on my Win 7 32bit or 64bit system!

I can confirm that this file is indeed malicious (WebHancer adware) and should be removed :)
