The first thing I did when I looked at the website was to see what OS it was based on. Lets get some more original OS. How many are there? Debian Fedora OpenSuse Gentoo .... Name them...
its all very debatable. most distros share alot of common things. most distros use gnome as default desktop environment, xorg,network manager, firefox,samba etc. each of the original distros seem to create a feature that later on all the major distros use. choice is good but the major distros are so similar it seems pointless them being separate. Fedora and Ubuntu both have a release around about every 6 months and they are almost identical. read the major features and you will wonder why they both exist. the only real different is apt-get instead of yum and synaptec / software centre instead of packagekit.
