Currently only SuperG, not wireless N.

Has antivirus/antispam installed within the router itself! that means no need to have an AV or AS inside your own computer(s), anyone have experience with this thing?

Oh? Where did you see that? Note that routers generally see everything coming from the local network side as coming from a trusted source. Meaning, without careful administration, networked computers are exposed to the other computers on the same network. If there was no need for a local anti-malware solution, I don't see Check Point saying,
That indicates to me that the antivirus program running on the router merely checks for known threats. It does not check for "suspicious activity", as a good local antimalware solution would do. Note too that this router's antimalware solution requires a paid subscription to ZoneAlarm's security suite, with recurring renewal payments too.

As seen here, this device has been around for almost 5 years. If it had been popular, AVG, Avira, Comodo would all have their versions. None do. And if popular, there would have been a wireless-N version, with 1Gbit/s Ethernet support too.

Finally, if you have a quick Internet connection, this Router may become a bottleneck, slowing down every packet for analysis. This may not be a problem if your network consists of just one computer. But if multiple computers, they will be competing with each other for the router's resources.

I would forget this thing. It does not support the latest wireless protocols. It does not support gigabit networks. Its expensive to start and has recurring costs. I see nothing good about it.

If you have a router and need wireless, get a WAP. If you need a router and need wireless, get a good wireless router - one that supports the latest technologies - one that will meet your needs for years to come.

Then make sure each computer on your network has a local firewall and anti-malware solution set up. There are many fully capable and free solutions. I use and recommend Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). You already have WF and MSE has proven itself to be excellent. Of course the user is always the weakest link so it is always necessary to "practice safe computing" by keeping our systems patched, updated, scanned and blocked, and we avoid risky practices like clicking on unsolicited links, visiting illegal porn or gambling sites, or participating illegal filesharing of copyrighted materials via P2P and Torrents.

    Fair enough.

I am waiting for the wireless N version of this router, however I could care less for Gigabit Ethernet(don't see the point).

Why? For one, it does not look like it is going to happen. 11n was around for years in Draft form, and has been final since Oct 2009. Since the 11g version was not big success, I don't see an 11n version. They are too expensive and provide no real advantage over the regular offerings from Netgear, D-Link, Linksys, etc.
Just as 10Mbit/s Ethernet networks went away, 100Mbit networks are on the way out, being replaced by 1GBit networks. Many motherboards in the last couple years support 1Gbit networks, and it is likely all new motherboards for PCs and notebooks will too. Since more and more households have more than one computer, data transfer between them can benefit from the faster speeds, especially when streaming video content.
