Playing with features of latest free ZA.

What have you checked under firewall, main, advanced? Why?

What have you got in zones (internet/trusted) if running PC behind NAT router? I have adapters, network PCs, gateway, dns servers, DHCP, loopback set to trusted. If this right? Any other ideas?

For Generic Host Process I have blocked Server Internet but allowed rest.

For Windows Explorer I have blocked all access.

Please give reason why as I am trying to learn.

    Thanks
    Ian

You could consider adding your mail servers (POP3, SMTP) to the Trusted Zone and then limit your e-mail client(s) to this zone and deny Internet Zone. This will help limit e-mail to those services and avoid unwanted html content.

Edit: Or you could leave it to Ask for the Internet Zone and let it prompt each time allowing you to choose permit/deny based on whether it is from a trusted source.
