Installed ZoneAlarm 7.0.337. Checked with grc.com as regards ports being stealthed, etc. Everything good. But I ran the leak test and it failed. My earlier versions, including the free offering, would alert me of the attempt to penetrate the fw. Any setting that needs to be checked? Thanks.
Hi, folks: I upgraded to ZA pro v.7.0.337. And it has been smoothly sailing w/o any hiccups. So far so good. I did the leak test as per yours. During the test, when ZA asked the permission for leak test to access internet, you need to DENY it. Then the test result shows that the leak test app fails to connect its server, that means ZA firewall is properly working. These are my understanding so far.
