does it specifically ONLY target keyloggers with its "proactive HIPS"? or will it protect ur system from more than just that?

No, it covers all forms of malware with its monitor of your system with its system Defenses.

This is the first I've heard of Zemana. How much memory does it use and how many services are running? Are there any known conflicts?

Just check the 1 process running is at 32,900 K its lite on my system. Why I was there I just noticed Opera browser over 45,000K not relevant though.Any How the Not compatible are the following according to Zemana,as far as Antivirus goes. Esafe, Ikarus, QuickHeal.

Sorry stepped away for a while. IMO you should be good with comodos proactive. You can try testing it against the AKLT (Anti KeyLogger Test)see How it does.http://www.firewallleaktester.com Look for the keylogger test.

wow, antilogger failed msot of the AKLT keylogger tests while comodo only failed 1, the screenshot 2. ill stick with just comodo for now. but another thing that disturbs me is how ineffective Mamutu is towards keylogging... they def need to improve on that.

i dunno, with AKLT ver.3 (newest one posted on that site) antilogger only passed 2 tests, didnt do anything about the rest :/ comodo was the only thing that said anything about these tests, Mamtu was quiet as a mouse as well, so seems like keylogging is Mamutu's weak point, although it excels at other things so ill let comodo handle the keyloggers :D

I just tested again with AKLT 3.0 warns on every one. After each one I have to delete the rule for each test or no pop up will occur.I am not sure why each rule for each test has to be deleted before proceeding for each test, perhaps because it the from the same test.

Ah I just figured it out after the test if you creat a rule on the pop up to block it blocks them there after automatically with no user intervention required. If check your event logs you should the blocks that equal the number of test or the main Gui show total blocks. pass 100 percent here

After a further look, Zemana seems interesting, but expensive for a one-trick pony. I do have some more questions, though:

    1. Are there any independent reviews? Their home page says it was a PC World Editor's Choice, but no link is provided. Googling finds no such reference. Fishy?

    2. The RAM footprint seems heavy. What about CPU usage?

    3. When installed, does it require a reboot?

    4. Any other observations from experienced users?

    Thanks

Now that I think about it, I sure hope someone finds evidence for that certificate. I wouldn't use it anyway until it gets the firewall and full HIPS they promised.

Would the System Defense part conflict with Mamutu?

Because Mamutu isn't to good with keyloggers, so I was thinking of running both Zemana and Mamutu...

Or should I disable the System Defense part in Zemana?
