ymsgr.exe or other messengers.. is it possible?

    Some you may have seen my other link
    Is it possible to use socks v4 or v5 with yahoo messenger? I heard it won't let you use anything from localhost. Why is that? Isn't there any way to anonymize our instant messenger traffic without having to use a different software (ie. trillian, gaim.. etc)

    I know skype is supposedly secure but all my friend on the other messengers.

    Anyone have any luck, and please list what you do/which programs you use.... I tried sockscap with tor but no luck (loads up cpu to 100%)
