Yahoo toolbar alternative for firefox

can anybody recommend a toolbarbar for firefox that is customisable so i can add buttons linked to websites as in yahoo and also able to let me check yahoo emails, custom icons for the buttons are preffered but not essential otherwise i would end up with loads of buttons with the same icons or other way of telling them apart.

Have you tried the built-in Bookmarks Toolbar?

 

That's what I use too, for my most-often-used bookmarks. Note(s) to garry35:
1) If you haven't already found it yourself, it's in the top menu-bar under View/Toolbars.
2) Note that nothing is in that toolbar to start with, just right-click on the ones you want in your "main" Bookmarks list and copy them to the toolbar.
3) Unless you're very tight on disk space, I'd suggest leaving the specific bookmarks in both places, in case one or the other gets corrupted, rather than simply moving them.
