I have been infected by the xxxserver (aka 1on1, hot_kiss) dialer for the past 3 weeks. I removed some bad files from my registry on advice from the modemhelp forum & I have been clear for 3 days, but I'm not convinced this thing is gone. I would be grateful if you could check out my hijackthis log:

    Hi David C,

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System Process] C:\WINDOWS\svchost.exe /i
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] C:\Program Files\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe

    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://207.188.7.150/19b058372c22e80ba205/netzip/RdxIE601.cab

    Then reboot and delete:
C:\WINDOWS\svchost.exe <= ONLY this one NOT C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe which is the real thing

    Regards,

    Pieter
