    Hello folks,

Was scanning my system and found a number of inaccessible files that were placed in a quarantine folder by SpySweeper. The message is exactly as in the title.

These were virus that previously found by SpySweeper but couldn't be remove by SpySweeper.

Why can't NOD32 access such files? What can I do to get rid of those viruses?

    Thank you in advance.

Hi ! Welcome to Willders !

The files in blue are normal too see . They are protected by Windows files , password protected or damaged archives or somehow locked files .

You can find more information in the NOD32's FAQ section here (the first one called Locked files):

Well , about your malware problems:
Open Control Center and click on Update -> Update now to ensure your NOD32 is up to date.

Make sure your settings are the same as listed in this tutorial.

Boot Windows in Safe Mode , Open Start -> Programs -> ESET -> NOD32
Make sure it uses "Control Center profile" and push Scan&Clean of all your hard drives . NOD32 will take care of all threats found (threats are in red/brown , not in blue)
