Odd one, anyone else experiencing this today?

XP's "Window's Security Center" is displaying their 'red shield' alert icon on my system task bar alerting me that "Virus Protection Not Found - No AntiVirus Software Is Detected On Your Computer".

However my Nod is up and running

Nod displays its 'green icon', detects the EICAR test virus and is doing all it should be doing. I just now tried disabling NOD protection and then re-enabled it but Windows Security Center still isn't seeing it. What gives?

I tried the fix in the link:
Using Windows Explorer, delete all files in the C:\Windows\System32\Wbem\Repository directory after stopping the Windows Management services.
    It didn't work
But I installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 and now NOD is reporting it is installed.

And something else not specifically related:
I might add that Symantec Norton Antivirus turns off the Windows Security Centre service, and when it is installed it sometimes doesn't get turned on again. The fix for this is to go and turn on the service and make it start automatically.
