[xp] where does it store quicklaunch icon sort order

i have a question

where does xp pro sp2 store the quicklaunch sort?


i know it saves desktop position in the registry

what's about the quicklaunch?
i know the links are here

but where does it store the sort oder i sorted manually?

It'll change (more on msfn) according to current positioning - hkcu\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\streams\desktop

i have one in local machine and not in current user

 

Use a program that takes a snapshot of the registry, change stuff, take 2nd snapshot and compare. This will show you where activity is.

I use InstallRite to do mine, but there are many available.

Not to worry, those settings are typically unavailable. "Drag n'drop" as you wish and let Taskbar Plus handle the rest.

Then they're guilty of offering the user too many options, ay? Shame on'em!
